A lot of people are talking about whether it's okay for a man to marry a man and a woman to marry a woman, but however you cut it, it's still only okay to marry one other person! And a lot of people think that everyone's supposed to get married. Lots of families have only a mom, or only a parent that isn't a mom or a dad, and sometimes there are three dads, or two moms, a dad, and another parent, a grandma, and a hamster! Sometimes parents are in love with each other, and sometimes parents love each other as friends. Families come in all shapes and sizes, the possibilities are endless!

There are lots of different ways
For us to care for one another

When my mom had me
I didn't have a dad
But she had a couple friends that she thought were pretty rad
Now we all live together in a big purple house
